We fit and replace lenses in any situation, not just in instances where your lenses are broken. If you’ve found that specialist for eyeglass lenses to be expensive in retail stores, then look no further than rx-able.com, where we have a great range of choices regarding color, specialty, and type.

Oh, and did we mention shipping was free?

What Types of Lenses do you Offer?

We offer various lens replacements that range in color, material, and type, and we’re positive you will find a style you love. With single, progressive, and lined bifocal lenses as standard, we offer multiple lens colors from Clear or Polarised to Transitions Xtractive and Transitions 8. Additionally, our Transition lenses aren’t just your standard gray. We provide subtle shades in brown and graphite green and more vibrant styles in emerald, sapphire, amethyst, and amber. Whatever your style and preference, we have the eyeglass lenses for you.

Refusing to stop there, we have grown to provide specialty lenses that include:

  • Blue-Blockers- to protect against blue-light exposure from screens and reduce eye strain.
  • Drivewear Photochromic Lenses use polarization technology to reduce glare from the road and other reflective surfaces for a safer journey.
  • Occupational Progressive Lenses- that allow for a smoother transition between the higher power optics on the lower section of the lens and the lower power on the higher section. These permit for greater ease in transition between intermediate viewing distances.
  • Fog Free Lenses have a hydrophilic surface layer, allowing the lenses to repel mist and water from their surface. Whether you’re cooking, exercising, or continuously moving from hot to cold environments because of the change in weather, you no longer have to worry about your vision being obscured at a moment’s notice.

Depending on their composition and thickness, there are 4 kinds of lens materials we provide:

  • CR-39 Plastic
  • Polycarbonate
  • 1.67 High-Index
  • 1.74 High-Index

People make a common mistake when purchasing eyeglasses or lens replacements are thinking the lens material doesn’t matter or won’t make any noticeable difference. We’re here to tell you it does. Different lens materials will primarily affect the durability and the weight, and overall thickness of your glasses. This not only changes the appearance of your lenses, but it can also influence the type of frame compatible with the lens.

There’s no need to worry about getting the wrong lenses for your frame; however, we will let you know if a particular type of lens is not compatible with the frame you have before you place your order.

How Does the Service Work?

A commonplace concern is that you’ll have to travel to your nearest store and stand in line waiting to be served. We provide an alternative option with a much more straightforward process. You send us your eyeglass frames and prescription if needed, and we replace the lenses without you leaving the comfort of your own home.

You don’t even need to pay to send them; we will email you a free pre-paid shipping label and provide free return shipping, too—no need to wait in a queue, no need to fret over shipping or buy new frames.

You can have your new glasses in a week. Once you’ve sent us your frames, we will receive them in 1 or 2 days. We will source the lenses from one of our exclusive brands and prepare them for the frames’ arrival while we wait. This ensures no delays in getting your glasses ready and back to you on time.

Once we have received your frames, we measure, cut, and grind your lenses to precision fit, which can also take around 1 or 2 days. Then we send your finished eyeglasses right back to your door. The return shipping can take about 2-3 days. Tracking information is available throughout the transaction so you can keep up to date, but the entire process is complete within approximately one week.

It’s as easy as that. At rx-able.com, our service is designed with ease in mind.

If you are unsure or need help at any point, please email us at customer-service@rx-able.com.

What About Pupillary Distance and Prescription?

We’ve taken both of those into account. All we need is a photo of your prescription that can be added when selecting your new lens replacements.

If you don’t have your prescription ready on hand when you place the order, worry not. You can also forward a scan or photo of the prescription to customer-service@rx-able.com.

Don’t fret if you don’t know your Pupillary Distance, and it’s not listed on your prescription. You can send a selfie of you wearing your frames on the order page, and we’ll take it from there.

If you have any additional notes or anything else that you think we should know, there is a box at the bottom where you can provide extra information.

Your Lenses are High-Quality, So are They Expensive?

A fair question!  However, we’re sure you’ll be pleased to know that our prices start at only $38, and we frequently have sales on a single vision and progressive lenses.

Think you can get your eyeglass lens replacement cheaper somewhere else? Tell us, as we also price match and often offer consistently cheaper deals than in-store alternatives.

And to top it all off, we accept all forms of insurance to cover all or part of the cost, so the full amount doesn’t come out of your pocket. As an out-of-network provider, you can submit the invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement to save you even more money once you buy from us.

Also, we have a newsletter that you can subscribe to at any point in the website footer. The newsletter contains special offers, free giveaways, and once-in-a-lifetime deals.
